Chaotic, that's the right word to describe the current situation

Maid's gone balik kampung for HRP, as her kampung is so far away, granted her 2 months leave. Didn't realize I've become so dependent on her. After a chaotic day's work, I really mean chaotic, as our 6-personnel team has been reduced to 2-personnel team....directive from above is 'freeze recruitment of new staff until further notice'....work load still the same if not increased.... team leader (that's me) responsible to find ways to ensure no disruption of work-flow regardless of man-power shortage.... that's simply interpreted as WORK LONGER HOURS!

Oh, where was I? Yeah.... after a chaotic day's work, I find myself with new chaos ... who's preparing dinner? who's washing the dirty laundry? who's ironing sonnie's school uniform, hubby's shirt... oh, where are my clean socks, mom???

Almost every evening, I reach home after 7... so for the time being, we eat out, or I'll buy take-away dinner. Hmm...today's Sunday, perhaps tonight I could cook a simple dinner...

Well, at least for now, this simple afternoon tea would be fine, errr.... of course, the washing after that would make me grumble a bit :-

Ice-blended coffee... hubby said not too bad...can challenge 'Coffee Bean' woh!

Ingredients:

1 packet of 3-in-1 Oldtown White Coffee (hazelnut flavour); 2 teaspoon coffee mate; 3 teaspoon brown sugar; 2 teaspoon milo; lots of ice-cubes; and everything goes into the blender... just enough for 2 glasses, sonnie will have milo ice-blended.
