a minute a day to say a little prayer for someone

Everyone deserves to lead a sweet happy life and it's everyone's duty to make another person happy, the least one could do is to say something or do a little deed to make life a little bit easier for another person.

home-cooked char siew rice with fried egg

It was another one of those days when I was out of idea on what to put on the dinner table and eating out was always rejected by my two most important men ... hub's tired of taking breakfast and lunch at shops near his workplace and sonnie had got to bear with 2 tea-breaks and 1 lunch-break of school canteen food ... and they were hungry for home-cooked food....

Sticking my head into the freezer compartment, it was almost empty except for a piece of lean pork, some mixed peas, a miserable ikan kembong and some eggs. It was a terribly hot Sat afternoon, I was in no mood for wet-marketing or supermarketing.... will leave that chore for Sunday...

Finally, we had home-cooked char-siew rice and fried eggs, decorated with mixed peas topped with char-siew sauce... and maid had the ikan kembong all to herself....

Char-siew tasted okay but too lean...

Fried eggs, oh... I was proud of the result, looks so perfect and tasted as delicious as ..... err... an egg...
