Sticking my head into the freezer compartment, it was almost empty except for a piece of lean pork, some mixed peas, a miserable ikan kembong and some eggs. It was a terribly hot Sat afternoon, I was in no mood for wet-marketing or supermarketing.... will leave that chore for Sunday...
Finally, we had home-cooked char-siew rice and fried eggs, decorated with mixed peas topped with char-siew sauce... and maid had the ikan kembong all to herself....
Char-siew tasted okay but too lean...
Fried eggs, oh... I was proud of the result, looks so perfect and tasted as delicious as ..... err... an egg...

i was in angus and robertson the other day & i saw this little green cook book called "4 ingredients" its amazing. all the recipes only need 4 ingredients. not more! maybe you can find it in malaysia? it was about $40 here...
only 4 ingredients, that suits me as i like simple and short-cut cooking...
chop, chop, ready to eat...
